I am a Creaney like everyone else on this. I am trying to figure out a little about my family. I never realized how many Creaney were out there. My family is in the Wisconsin area of the states. My Grandpa is Arthur Creaney and I belive his father was Artur as well. I am just trying to do a little research like I said.

Wondering if there might be a connection. We have an old will from my husband's gg grandfather, Patrick, who immigrated to US in 1841 that lists "two houses that I own through my brother in law, William Spence, in the town of Listburn, County Antrim, Ireland. Said property at the present is rented at Eighteen pounds per year to John Reid, Esq., Proctor in Dromone Court." The name Spence really struck me. I could give you names of brothers, etc.

dont know if it is any connection but my mother (Mavis ) was a Creaney her father was Thomas Creaney and was from Armagh he died in 1966 an lived in Moy i have an uncle who is called Hiram Creaney and also Thomas, Billy, Ned & Harry Creaney

Hi there. I just randomly came across your site! I am a decendant of the same Creaneys. My dad is John Creaney (born William John Creaney) brother of Florence Creaney mentioned in the family tree! Molly was my great aunt!
